The Mosaic covenant was always destined to fail so the Abrahamic promise could be fulfilled. God had a legit case against the people of Israel. God's judgement of Israel is a wake up call that man is in need of redemption and a Savior. God calls all men, not just Jews, to Himself. The only escape of God's judgment is to put your faith in the person and work of Jesus Christ.
