Apologetics: Defending the Faith; Proclaiming Our Hope
Speaker: Carlton Wynne
Come to the Blue Ridge mountains this winter as we study along with Dr. Carlton Wynne on the crucial subject of Christian Apologetics. Join us as we consider what we believe, why we believe it, and how to defend the historic, Christian faith as we engage with others. In a day and age like ours, it has never been more important to "give a defense for the hope that is in you" (I Peter 3:15).
During our time together, we will ask what Scripture says about human knowledge, particularly the process by which a non-Christian comes to know Christ. We will think about how to do apologetics, discussing different apologetic schools of thought as well as discuss major issues under debate between Christians and non-Christians, such as the existence of God, the truth of Scripture, the problem of evil; and we'll explore the popular and rampant currents of modern and postmodern thought.
Join with us as we learn how to better Defend our Faith and Proclaim our Hope!
