James 4:4-10
Just like flowers will grow in good soil, the environment of biblical humility is the soil in which our spiritual lives, and our relationships with God and with others, can truly flourish. This good soil is cultivated by five directives set forth by James: submit to God, resist the devil, draw near to God, cleanse your hands, and purify your heart.
